Humanity First is an international not-for-profit humanitarian relief organization established to promote and safeguard human life and dignity. It is a non-political, non-religious, nonsectarian international relief and development organization that works with the world’s poor and vulnerable people. Humanity First was formally established in the UK in 1995, and now has registered operations in more than 43 countries and projects in many more. Humanity First USA was established as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2004. Most of the aid workers and the management of Humanity First USA are volunteers and its administrative expenses are negligible. Humanity First USA spends approximately 90% of the donations directly on projects and is able to deliver significantly more aid value in the field than the funds raised through volunteers, collaboration and global sourcing.
